Senior Manager of PMC Visited Shamu International

Invited by Professor Huang Weibo of Qingdao Technological University. Director of International Sales, Mr. Murphy Mahaffey of PMC (Polyurethane Machinery Corporation) of the United States made a special trip to Qingdao, the birthplace of polyurea in China, as well as the R & D Center of Pure Polyurea of CHINA (CPPC) in Qingdao Technological University, Shamu International headquarters for a three-day visit.

During the visiting in Qingdao, Mr. Murphy gave high evaluation of the research and development, Teachers' quality,experimental conditions of Qingdao Technological University and team spirit, external image, keep improving on work, international perspective, polyurea museum collection of Shamu International. At the same time, he gave business training and professional guidance to Shamu’s technical backbone. Continuously resonate in bilateral exchanges of both sides. PMC happened to coincide with Shamu International on corporate values. The pursuit of stability, reliability and durability. Both sides have expressed to be more close cooperation and provide better products and services to clients in the future.

Qingdao (old spell Tsingtao)is a beautiful coast city in China, and famous for its Tsingtao Beer. Mr. Murphy and professor Huang visited the polyurea venuesin Qingdaoand had a one day city-tour accompanied by Shamu International staff, Mr. Murphy show his sincerely admire to what the contributionof professor Huang and Shamu International team to polyurea development for China as well as the world.

Mr. Murphy served as the 7th President of Polyurea Development Association (PDA). He is also the4th President of PDA to visit China after Dudley Primeaux, Lee Hanson and Ray Scott.

Since then, the monographhas been identified as the first bookon polyurea technology in the world. Professor Huang still kept the record of the world's first.
