In Memory of Mr. Gebhard Rauter

With deep regret we have to announce that Gebhard Rauter, highly respected board member and a polyurea mastermind in Europe (http://www.pda-europe.org/about_bod.asp), passed away on Sunday, September 5 after a long fight with cancer.

Gebhard was heavily involved in getting polyurea technology established in Europe and will be sorely missed by colleagues, friends and family. May he rest in peace.

Our global polyurea industry has lost a pioneer, a leader, a volunteer, a team member and associate. To those of us here at www.polyurea.cn, we have lost a great friend of Chinese polyurea industry. Gebhard is the 3rd man to devote his life to polyurea career following Tom Davis of US at http://www.polyurea.cn/en/2008/news080604.htm, Guanming Shen of China at http://www.polyurea.cn/en/2009/news090119.htm. On behave of China polyurea industry, we'll express our love and mourn to him and his family.

Pictures attached was shown Prof. Weibo Huang (http://www.pda-online.org/Content.asp?CID=13) attended the 2nd PDA-EU (http://www.polyurea.cn/en/2008/news081124.htm ) in Vienna, Austria, where he first met Gebhard in training course at Vienna Zoo. Gebhard was a trainer at the conference. Prof. Huang met him again at Bruhl, Germany to attend the 3rd PDA-EU (http://www.polyurea.cn/en/2009/news091119.htm ) with touring Phantasia Land.
