The 2010 graduation ceremony of the school of civil engineering of Qingdao Technology University was held on the track of Sifang campus this morning. As the second term of undergraduates of polyurea technology taught by Prof. Huang, all the graduates in the major of material and engineering systematically studied the concrete structure, soil mechanics, mechanics of materials, polymer chemistry, polymer physics, coating chemistry, basis for polyurea technology, etc in the university. Led by Prof. Huang, they came to the jobsite of Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, shared the joys and sorrows, worked with the railway builders together and received favorable review from the construction units. In the dissertations of the graduates, the research direction closely associated with the hotspot projects in construction of infrastructural facilities, such as Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, Jinan Olympic Sports Center, Qingdao Bay Bridge, Qingdao Metro, Qingdao Golden Street, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, etc. They did the research, got the remarkable result, and laid a solid experimental foundation for the expanding polyurea technology application.
It is understood that all the graduates in the major of polyurea of 2010 have been booked in advanced by the companies. According to the follow-up survey of the graduates of 2009, it showed that the students in the major of polyurea cultivated by Prof. Huang had the characteristics of proficient professional knowledge, wide range of knowledge, hard-working and industrious, strong and healthy, unity and cooperation, dedication, etc. and got favorable reception from the companies. The students said that they would live up to Prof. Huang industrious cultivation and strict demands and become the important new force in the polyurea development both in China and all over the world.

Prof. Huang expressed that it should make full use of the platform of talent education base of Qingdao Technological University and the advantage of research on durability of civil engineering and he will take the talent education base of polyurea and the promotion of application of polyurea technology as his lifetime venture and set the academician Yuan Longping as the example for promoting and disseminating polyurea actively. He is determined to let 100,000,000 people know polyurea before he retires, let 500,000,000 people learn polyurea in his lifetime and truly become the Father of Polyurea in China.
