Prof. Weibo Huang Return to the Position of BOD of PDA

PDA (Polyurea Development Association) had a Board of Directors (BOD) meeting on the morning of Dec. 10, 2008.The board had unanimously voted for Prof. Weibo Huang, Qingdao Technological University, Qingdao, CHINA, to be an International Board of Director to PDA representing CHINA, serving the term 2009-2011. PDA looks forward to seeing Prof. Huang at their next Board meeting and discussing with him about the formation of a Polyurea Development Association (CHINA) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jan. 20, 2009. And Prof. Huang will make a presentation named Polyurea in CHINA to the attendees (www.pda-online.org ).

This is the 3rd time of Prof. Huang to be the BOD position of PDA. The other two serving terms are 2002-2004 and 2005-2006, respectively. Prof. Huang is the 1st man in CHINA to promote Spray Polyurea Elastomer (SPUA) technology in 1995 and visited Gusmer Inc. in Dec. 1996. Under the instruction of Dudley Primeaux II, Prof. Huang leads CHINA polyurea industry to apply SPUA in many fields, such as: Olympic stadium stand, high speed railway concrete beam, sewage water pool, cooling water pool, hydropower dam, steel tank, steel pipe, bedliner, fender, theme park and so on. In July, 2005, he edited and published the 1st monograph named Spray Polyurea Elastomer Technology in the world.
